Biography

Brian Berger’s practice focuses primarily on construction and civil litigation.  He has experience handling multi-party construction defect cases, nonpayment claims, complex business disputes, and personal injury lawsuits.  In addition, Brian analyzes contracts for commercial construction companies and advises them on how to avoid or minimize legal risks associated with large-scale construction projects.  Brian also has experience filing mechanic’s liens under the Texas Property Code and was lead negotiator on a multimillion-dollar settlement involving the bankruptcy of an international industrial construction project.",

Brian received his bachelor’s degree in political science, with a minor in philosophy, from the University of Florida in 2010, and his law degree from Boston University School of Law in 2014.  While in law school, Brian was named an Edward F. Hennessey Distinguished Scholar and Paul J. Liacos Scholar.  In addition, he participated in moot court, worked as a research assistant for a renowned tax law professor, and was on the staff of the Review of Banking & Financial Law. He is a member of the State Bar of Texas Construction Law Section, Austin Bar Association, and Texas Young Lawyers Association.
